Catherine Roberts - Catherine Roberts

I am a Performance & Process Manager within the senior management team at a SME based in North Wales. I have been with the organisation for 4 1/2 years and have a proven track record in developing and leading teams across multiple departments. I work with other departmental managers to help improve their management skills and performance levels. I have a level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management and run training workshops in administrative procedures, performance & processes and motivational techniques. I believe in leading from the front and have won the manager of the year award for 3 consecutive years.

Prior to the above role I worked as a manager for Holland & Barrett for over 5 years and left the company with an extensive knowledge of herbal medicines, vitamins and minerals and alternative medicines. My time with Holland & Barrett was extremely beneficial in my quest to learn as much as possible about alternative medicines and how they can help to treat the cause and not just the symptoms. Whilst there I quailifed with distinction in both the intermediate herbal advisor exam and later the advanced nutritional supplements and physiology exam. In my personal life outside of work I continued my love of natural medicine by researching complementary therapies such as Bach Flower Remedies, Tissue Salts, Reflexology and Acupuncture.

In my spare time I am a freelance web designer and have written the copy for a number of websites. I also write a well received blog from the point of view of my wonderful 6 year old Border Collie which poses a humourous take on topics and life from a canines point of view.
